For years I thought the key to results was doing more.

More cardio.
More HIIT.
More bootcamps.
More workouts.

At one point I was training 2x a day thinking that’s what it took to look like I worked out.

But instead of getting leaner… I was just driving more inflammation in my body.

My cortisol was constantly elevated.
Recovery was poor.
And my body was stuck in a stress state.

Once I shifted my approach, everything changed.

Now my routine is much simpler:

• 4 days per week lifting with progressive overload
• Daily walking
• Prioritizing recovery

And ironically… this is when I finally started looking like I actually work out.

Muscle definition improved.
Inflammation went down.
My body finally had the chance to recover and adapt.

More exercise isn’t always better.

The right stimulus + recovery is what actually changes your body.

If you’re constantly exhausted, inflamed, or not seeing results…

Your body might be asking for less chaos and more strategy.

Save this if you needed the reminder that more isn’t always better. šŸ’Ŗ

Eczema isn’t always a food problem.

I recently worked with a 6-year-old with persistent eczema. His mom is a practitioner who had already done so much to help him — testing, supplements, diet changes… everything.

But his skin kept flaring.

When we zoomed out, we discovered the missing piece was mold mycotoxins in the home environment.

So we focused on removing the trigger and supporting his immune system.

They used MicroBalance mold and mycotoxin cleaning products to clean the environment and reduce exposure.

We also supported immune resilience with:

• nebulized LL-37
• Aller DMG
• Histamine Block
• Immune Avenger
• MegaSpore probiotics
• Glutathione

And we switched his topical skincare to Oliveda (big difference).

Within months his skin cleared… and he’s now eating a diverse diet again instead of living on a restrictive food list.

Sometimes eczema isn’t about removing more foods.

It’s about building resilience and recognizing that both the internal environment (gut, immune system) and the external environment (toxins, skin care, mold exposure) impact the skin microbiome and the gut microbiome.

Research shows exposure to damp indoor environments and mold can trigger immune activation and inflammatory responses associated with allergic and skin conditions like eczema.

Let me tell you a quick story about my husband.

A few years ago his labs came back with fatty liver and high cholesterol.

Which made zero sense.

He barely drinks.
He works out.
He eats pretty clean.
He takes his supps and gets semi decent sleep.

He didn’t look like the typical person doctors warn about with fatty liver.

But the labs didn’t lie.

So instead of just telling him to ā€œeat betterā€ or ā€œcut alcoholā€ā€¦ we dug deeper… we ran targeted functional labs (not the basics you get at your doctor)..

What we found was gut dysfunction and a leaky gut driving inflammation.

When the gut lining breaks down, toxins from bacteria leak into the bloodstream… and most of them go straight to the liver.

The liver gets inflamed.

Fat starts accumulating.

Cholesterol markers climb.

So we didn’t chase the liver.

We fixed the gut.

Once his digestion, gut lining, and microbiome improved… something interesting happened.

His cholesterol normalized and the fatty liver markers disappeared.

That’s why root cause matters.

If your gut is a mess and you want to stop Googling and actually get it fixed…

Think antibiotics cure SIBO? Not even close 🤯

The most common SIBO drug (Rifaximin) often only drops gas levels 25–30 ppm per round… while many people test 120+ ppm.

So what happens next?

You go to your doctor, he prescribes expensive antibiotics, you get temporary relief, SIBO comes back, you feel even worse, cycle repeats….

Because SIBO isn’t just bacteria.

It’s gut motility, bile flow, digestion, biofilms, diet, and the entire gut terrain.

Kill some bugs without fixing the environment… and the overgrowth returns.

If you want to understand how to actually fix SIBO, not just suppress it…

Teen complaining about stomach pain after eating…

Clip taken from Live Q&A: Contipation, HRT Heartburn, Teen Digestive Issues

We dive deep into topics like redundant colon (elongated colon) and why it’s often blamed for constipation when the real causes may be microbiome imbalance, bile flow issues, hormones, or nervous system dysfunction.

You’ll also learn why heartburn can appear after starting hormone replacement therapy (HRT) and why the hormones themselves are rarely the root problem. Instead, digestive weaknesses like low stomach acid, poor bile flow, or microbiome imbalances may be the real driver.

The episode also covers teen digestive issues, exploring how puberty, estrogen fluctuations, stress, and poor digestion habits can create stomach pain after eating.

Finally, we answer a key question about DHEA, cortisol, and adrenal health, explaining how hormone therapy influences the stress response and why supporting adrenal function is still essential.

Most people think food is the problem.

But sometimes… it’s the bacteria living in the gut.

In this case study, the client was reactive to dairy and taking daily antihistamines (Zyrtec) just to control symptoms.

The root issue?

A strain of Helicobacter pylori carrying virulence factors.

Virulence factors are the ā€œweaponsā€ certain microbes use to damage tissue, increase inflammation, and disrupt digestion.

When bacteria like H. pylori are producing toxins, they can:

• Irritate the stomach lining
• Reduce stomach acid
• Disrupt protein digestion
• Trigger immune reactions to foods
• Drive histamine symptoms like hives, reflux, and food sensitivities

This is why testing matters.

It’s not just ā€œDo you have the bacteria?ā€

It’s ā€œIs the strain aggressive?ā€

Once we addressed the root issue, the immune reactivity started calming down.

Comment PYLORI and I’ll send you our full podcast on this bacteria, how it impacts digestion, and what to look for.

Midday crashes….Dragging herself home from work….Make dinner → collapse on the couch.

Energy for her kids?
Basically nonexistent.

And the gut issues?

Imagine living your life knowing that once your stomach ā€œflipped the switchā€ā€¦ you had 30–60 seconds to find a bathroom.

Not exactly the freedom every mom dreams about.

Fast forward six months working with Stephanie (one of our amazing practitioners)…

Now Kristi is outside with her kids. Going to the gym. Moving her body again.

The exhaustion that used to run her life?

Gone.

And those panic-mode ā€œgut attacksā€ that made leaving the house feel risky?

Also gone.

Now she can go places, travel, live life… without constantly scanning for the nearest bathroom.

That’s the difference when you stop guessing and start fixing the root cause.

More energy.
A calm gut.
And the freedom to actually live your life again.

If your gut issues are running the show right now… it doesn’t have to stay that way.
