💡 Keep the lights low and the atmosphere calm. Use a nightlight or dim light to avoid fully waking your baby (and yourself!). This helps your baby understand it’s still nighttime and encourages them to go back to sleep more easily after feeding.

Be sure to set up a cozy nursing station nearby with water, burp cloths, and snacks for yourself — staying hydrated and nourished helps with milk production.

Hindmilk comes later in the feed and is creamier and higher in fat, helping your baby feel full and gain weight.
