Our residents turned simple pieces into a work of art. We created solar lamps using a vase, solar light and a "crystal" bowl shade. Each resident created their own design onto the shade or the vase or both. When the sun goes down, their artwork shines through. 🌛💡

Hacienda Del Rey celebrated Cinco de Mayo with a fantastic mariachi band graciously sponsored by United Hospice. Imperio Azteca supplied the music They were wonderful. The music got several of our residents in the mood for dancing and singing along. It was so touching to watch and hear them sing. After, we enjoyed taquitos and horchata, and a photo shoot of crazy glasses.

Today we celebrated all the wonderful mothers and mother figures with a delicious brunch. The families that were able to share this day with their loved one enjoyed a wonderful meal of caprese salad, chicken parmigiana over spaghetti and home made tiramisu.
There was laughing, good conversation and smiling faces. It was such a joy to honor all these beautiful women that mean so much to our community. Thank you to all of you that helped make this such a fun time. A huge shout out to our Culinary staff, Chefs Kevin and Shayden.

Last week we hosted our annual Friends & Family Bingo, and it was such a fun time! Everyone enjoyed a few rounds of classic bingo and had the chance to win some awesome prizes, thank you to our sponsors (Suncrest Hospice & Palliative Care, Assisted Living Locators, Eternity Hospice & Palliative Care, NP Pulse Mobile P*P, Passion Hospice, Hospice of the Valley) for helping make that possible.
The groovy theme made it even more special, and we loved seeing everyone show up in their best outfits! To top it all off, our dining team treated us to delicious homemade pizza prepared by Chef Kevin and Chef Shayden.

Join us for a special Mother's Day Brunch as we celebrate the amazing Moms in our community.
Our Dining Services team will be serving a delicious three-course meal, and we can't wait to share this beautiful day with everyone.

Please RSVP by May 1st by calling 623-498-8682 as space is limited. We kindly ask that each resident is accompanied by up to two guests. For larger parties please reach out, we are happy to accommodate whenever possible.

We were treated to a wonderful hour of music from our friends from CAPA., Creative Arts and Production Academy. 🎼
This group of talented young adults are a Christian based home schooled group. When they are done performing they meet and greet with our residents . It's so wonderful to see different generations come together through music.
Their energy and beautiful performance filled the room with smiles from our residents as well as singing along.
You made our day and we welcome you back any time.

💦Hacienda Del Rey's Annual Wheelchair Wash.💦
A huge thank you🥰 to Landon from Suncrest Hospice for helping us with our wheelchair wash. It was such a beautiful day, so under the tent the residents waited, enjoyed a cool glass of lemonade, good tunes to dance to while Landon, Connie, Hadasa, Lisa and Jennifer, washed, rinsed and dried wheelchairs and walkers. They were set in the sun to dry and brought back to the residents.
It was a fun time, one we will be holding again.

Today we served up a whole burrito of gratitude to fire house station 174. 🌯🥰
Our group had the pleasure of giving back to the fire fighters that usually respond in an emergency to our community. We delivered fresh, homemade burritos made by Chef Shayden, along with orange juice and yogurt parfaits. It was a great moment of connection, purpose and the community.
We thank our first responders for all they do to keep us safe. We truly enjoyed you taking time out of your morning to show us the fire house and answer questions that we had.

🐣Easter Egg Hunt🐣
We had an egg-stra special morning with our Easter egg hunt in full swing. Eggs hidden around the community and only one golden egg to win a special surprise. The Easter bunny came to visit as well.
There were smiles, hugs, a little friendly competition to see who would get the most eggs.
We really enjoy celebrating seasons that are fun, meaningful and uplifting.
