National Women Physicians Day marks the birthday of Elizabeth Blackwell, the first woman to receive a medical degree in the United States. We are blessed to have incredible women physicians that practice at HSHS St. Francis Hospital and provide the best care possible for our patients. Like Dr. Blackwell, each one paves the way for the next generation of women practicing medicine.

We had many accomplishments this year, including a visit from our Hospital Sisters, an amazing benefit concert, a mayoral Proclamation of the 150th Anniversary and our very own cookbook! We also had a wonderful time celebrating with our community. 💙 Share your favorite moment from our 150th anniversary year down in the comments below!
