We are excited to partner with HSHS St. Francis Hospital for Breaking Bread this week. They will be providing the following meal:
Balsamic marinated chicken breast, roasted vegetable medley, and mashed potatoes.

There will be 150 meals available first come first serve, starts at 5pm at the old underground as usual.

This meal sounds delicious definitely don’t wanna miss it!

🟣 Hillsboro Health will host a free mental health training workshop! 🟣 April 27-28 🟣

Living Works Applied Su***de Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) is an evidence-based, interactive two-day training designed to help participants recognize when someone may be at risk of su***de, engage in supportive and potentially life-saving conversations, and connect individuals to appropriate resources.

This hands-on training focuses on practical skills, confidence-building, and shared language to strengthen local response to mental health crises.

What participants will gain:
-Increased confidence recognizing su***de risk
-Skills to engage in direct, supportive conversations
-Strategies to develop a safety plan and connect individuals to help
-A shared framework for responding to crisis situation

Who should attend:
-Healthcare professionals
-First responders
-Social service providers
-Educators
-Community leaders
-Anyone who lives or works in the community and wants to be prepared to help someone in crisis.

No prior mental health or su***de prevention training is required.
