The LWF is excited to welcome movement enthusiast and health champion✨Maureen Bellmay✨as a featured presenter on June 27th! 

Maureen is a fully certified level 4 Essentrics instructor who has been a healthy living enthusiast for much of her life.  A fitness instructor in the past and a yoga student for over 35 years, she became intrigued by a program she watched on PBS several years ago, called Classical Stretch by Essentrics.  At the age of 55 she decided to become an instructor and begin a new chapter in her life— now teaching Essentrics for over 8 years in the Northwest Corner of CT with a dedicated student following.

Maureen recently completed the Advanced Therapeutic Techniques Graduate Program at Omega Institute in Rhinebeck NY, which included 5 days of training with Miranda Esmonde-White (Creator of Essentrics, Host of Classical Stretch on PBS & New York Times Bestselling Author).  

Essentrics is a unique exercise technique that honors the body’s natural design.  It is an intelligent movement form that works with the neuromuscular system to rebalance each joint and increase range of motion.  The program draws on the flowing movements of tai chi which create health and balance, the strengthening theories behind ballet which create long lean flexible muscles and the healing principles of physiotherapy which create a pain-free body.  

A must try for students new to movement and seasoned practitioners alike!

The LWF is honored to host featured presenter, ✨Julianne Roshan Dow✨, holistic pioneer in the realm of integrative healing and-wellness!()

Julianne is the Director of the Dow Integrative Institute LLC in Kent, CT where she has a holistic health practice for people and animals. She is a certified Jin Shin Jyutsu practitioner with over thirty years of holistic health training, and a RYT500 yoga teacher.

She has had the distinct pleasure of offering healing arts to students in classroom settings as a classroom teacher and offering Jin Shin Jyutsu, Breathwork and Therapeutic Touch to patients recovering from surgery as part of the Integrative Medicine Department at Overlook Medical Center (NJ).

 Julianne currently offers private holistic health sessions, as well as Yoga Nidra, Meditation-in-Motion, Self-Help, and Animal Health classes/play-shops both online and in person. As a volunteer, Roshan has worked with people and animals at the Ronald McDonald House, Hope Lodge, NY Therapy Animals, Catskill Animal Sanctuary, Woodstock Farm Sanctuary, Lucky Orphans Horse Rescue, and Project SAGE Adult Support Services.

Her areas of expertise are women’s wellness and empowering YOU to support your own healing journey.

Patricia will be featuring playlist with a mission of community connection through movement, synergy, and energetic unity.

 Originally from the Dominican Republic 🇩🇴 and now based in Litchfield County, Patricia has been teaching Latin dance since 2009. Her classes are energetically contagious, fun, and endorphin boosting…offering a fantastic workout while making learning latin dance easy and enjoyable!

Patricia teaches the basic steps of merengue, bachata, salsa, and more, helping students feel confident on the dance floor.
