At 75 years young, Dr. Tulman still sees patients a few days a week and continues to inspire us all.

He’s a proud yearly participant in the 10k Peachtree Road Race and remains the guiding force of our practice.

Vision Walk 2025

Tulman Eye Group raises over $1000 for Foundation Fighting Blindness
Brookhaven, GA, May 10, 2025

The urgent mission of the Foundation Fighting Blindness is to drive the research that will provide preventions, treatments and cures for people affected by retinitis pigmentosa, macular degeneration, Usher syndrome and the entire spectrum of retinal degenerative diseases. The Foundation is a beacon for those affected by these blinding diseases.
2025 was the first year Tulman Eye Group has participated in creating a fundraising team to walk in the Vision Walk to drive research for retinal diseases. Not only do these diseases affect our patients and we help our patients manage them on a daily basis, there is a personal connection for our clinic.
Alexys Zermeno, captain of the Tulman Eye Group fundraising team, organized this year’s fundraising team. She has been participating in the walk for four years because of her boyfriend’s family. Her boyfriend’s brother was diagnosed with Retinitis Pigmentosa since 16 years old. Retinitis Pigmentosa (RP) is a genetic disease that causes progressive peripheral vision loss (tunnel vision) and typically leads to complete blindness.
Despite the rain and cold weather, Tulman Eye Group brought a team of doctors, staff, friends and family to help support the mission. Not only was Tulman Eye Group proud to raise $1150 for the Foundation Fighting Blindness, but participating in the walk has started a new tradition for the clinic.
