A friend asked if she could pray for me today so I asked God what it is that I’m feeling lately.

It’s a shift in seasons for me. I’m turning 50 this year. My kids are growing up. Things just feel different. My whole world including my body is changing.

We all go through it. We should talk about it more!

🌸 April is Rosacea Awareness Month!

Below are some Myths vs Facts about Rosacea and options to help if you deal with it!

Myth - Rosacea is caused by poor hygiene or diet.
Fact - Rosacea is a chronic inflammatory condition which comes from both genetics and the environment. It has nothing to do with how clean your skin is. Certain foods like alcohol and spicy foods do trigger flares, but they don’t cause Rosacea.

Myth - Rosacea only affects fair skinned people.
Fact - Rosacea is more commonly diagnosed in lighter skin tones, but it absolutely affects all skin tones and ethnicities. It is often under diagnosed in deeper skin tones because redness is harder to detect.
