CONCEPT Continuing and Professional Studies at Palo Alto University offers online professional training to thousands of mental health, correctional, and law enforcement professionals around the world. CONCEPT was founded in 2009 by Dr. Patricia Zapf and was acquired by Palo Alto University in 2018 to become the Continuing & Professional Studies Division of the University. Palo Alto University is a small, private non-profit university dedicated to improving the human condition through excellence in teaching, research and scholarship in the fields of psychology and counseling. With an unwavering commitment to diversity and to the communities it serves, PAU offers doctorate, master's and bachelor's programs, as well as hands-on clinical training.

CONCEPT Continuing and Professional Studies at Palo Alto University in California offers online professional training to thousands of mental health, correctional, and law enforcement professionals around the world. We also conduct ongoing research on our training programs, including evaluation of short- and long-term training outcomes, instructional design elements, and online pedagogy. Our convenient training options allow you and your staff to increase your knowledge, skillset, and expertise to elevate your level of practice.
