MMC recently hosted an Immersive Dementia Training sessions for team members, led by Melody Karick, Dementia Educator and Consultant with ForgeWorks. Melody shared her personal caregiving story and then led the participants through two immersive experiences to better understand the sensory and cognitive overwhelm many individuals with Dementia face daily.
