Landis Homes is proud to share that we’ve received a five-year CCRC reaccreditation from CARF International , marking 30 years of continuous accreditation! The survey was a positive and collaborative experience, reinforcing our commitment to quality and growth. We’re grateful for the thoughtful feedback and especially thankful to dedicated team members whose daily efforts make this possible.

Evon Bergey, Vice President of Operations and COO at Landis Communities, was recently honored as one of Central Penn Business Journal's 2025 Women of Influence.

This is a testament to her impactful leadership and unwavering dedication to the Central Pennsylvania community. At the Women of Influence event on June 25 at the Sheraton Harrisburg Hershey Hotel, she joined a select group of distinguished women who are celebrated not just for their professional achievements but also for their commitment to mentorship and community service.

Building on her strategic guidance over the past nine years, Landis Communities has expanded its mission to support diverse living needs and strengthen community connections for those aged 55 plus.

We are pleased to be one of the three groups, along with City of Lancaster, PA and Lancaster Downtowners that provide leadership to Age-Friendly Lancaster City efforts. This year the group has been meeting to create plans for the next several years. This week a group met to look over the draft and to assign lead organizations for each domain of work. Thanks to all who participated.

Last evening at the 153rd Annual Lancaster Chamber Dinner, Willonda McCloud was named 2025 ATHENA® Award Recipient. In addition to serving as the President and CEO of Bright Side Opportunities Center, she also serves as the board secretary of the Landis Home and Community-Based Services board. We are grateful for the time and energy she shares in our work, and throughout the area! Thank you!

Great to see Landis Homes able to share about the wetlands with this educational group.

Saturday, Landis Homes was pleased to host this year’s Lancaster Watershed Leadership Academy as they investigated the restored wetlands on campus. The group is sponsored by Lancaster Clean Water Partners, Penn State College of Agricultural Sciences, and the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation. This one-year program supports the leadership and watershed development of individuals involved in the collective effort for clean water in Lancaster County. Scholars walk away with an understanding of watersheds, leadership skills and application, and countless resources to integrate themselves into clean water work.

Here the class is shown along with members of the resident group Friends of the Woods and Wetlands, who helped share in giving the tour.
