The board of commissioners declares July 2024 as Disability Pride Month in Ramsey County. The County recognizes that Disability Pride Month is a time for people with disabilities to unapologetically celebrate their bodies as they are. Ramsey County residents who have a disability or residents who are allies, Disability Pride Month is full of much to celebrate. All 75 Minnesota state parks and state recreation areas will offer free admission to everyone. It’s a great opportunity to get outside and explore someplace new.

Our 11th annual Run for the Roses Fun Run and Family Day is on Saturday. Rather than a silent auction this year, we have 50 exciting items on our online auction.

The weather is looking favorable and we intend to have nothing but fun--if we run or if we hang around the barn listening to music, shopping the Horse Crazy Market vendors and looking at the beautiful horses who live at Wishbone Ranch. Gates open at 9, the 5k run kicks off at 10 a.m. and the open house goes until 2 pm.
