As the school year is beginning in all of our communities, be mindful of everyone’s safety around the schools.

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation has been posting several helpful reminders on their page recently that everyone should take the time to review … for the children’s sake. 🏫 🛑 🚦⚠️

We’re wrapping up School Transportation Safety Week with some reminders for pedestrians and motorists.

Pedestrians:
• Walk on sidewalks and use crosswalks
• Follow instructions of crossing guards
• Look both ways before crossing roads

Drivers:
• Yield to pedestrians in crosswalks
• Give bicyclists space
• Stay patient and watch for children

We recently hosted two well attended lunch and learn presentations at the Little Chute Windmill.

Attendees learned about the benefits of pre-planning their final arrangements, enjoyed lunch from Seth's Coffee, and were given free tours of the windmill.
