Grounding & Warming Foods for Autumn -- 2 recipes in photos!

As the air cools and the days shorten, our bodies call for nourishment that grounds and warms from within. 🍲

Choose foods that are rooted, slow-cooked, and spiced — they support digestion, calm the nervous system, and balance the shifting energy of the season.

Autumn Nourishment Tips:
🥕 Root vegetables – sweet potatoes, carrots, beets, turnips, butternut squash, etc
🍎 Seasonal fruits – COOKED apples, pears, figs
🌾 Whole grains – oats, quinoa, brown rice
🌰 Warming spices – cinnamon, ginger, cardamom

Each season here on mama earth is an opportunity for us to realign with nature. By doing so, we can reset and harmonize our own natural cycles. Autumn is the time to enjoy the fruits of our labor, take a deep breath in, and begin to settle into ourselves in preparation for winter.

Begin the phase of warming with additional clothing, root vegetables, slow-cooked soups, and warming spices like cardamom, cinnamon and your favorite pumpkin spice blend! Cleanse your body letting go of all the to-do's and excitement from the summer.
