Commercial insurances on an individual basis. PROFESSIONALLY: I pursued a double major undergraduate degree in psychology and counseling and drug and alcohol counseling, and I have been licensed as a drug and alcohol counselor (LADC) by the Board
of Behavioral Health in the state of MN since 2017. In 2020 I completed my master’s degree in psychology/counseling at Crown College to better serve clients with underlying mental health/co-occurring issues. In 2023 my professional counselor (LPC) license status was updated to "independent"! I am committed to meeting clients where they are in their recovery journey. I emphasize a faith-based program of recovery, incorporating the 12-steps. I believe that our past does not define us and that diagnoses are meant to guide counseling services, not define the person or their future. In addition, I am committed to serving clients with a holistic approach implementing evidenced based practices to assist them in realizing their full health potential. I am intent on providing client-centered care that emphasizes each client’s strengths and moves them toward wholeness of mind and body. It is my goal to help each client to discover their barriers, find solutions, and to Restore Hope! PERSONALLY: I have had a heart to serve people in recovery for over 25 years. I am a Christian, wife of over 20 years, mother of a blended family, including six adult children, two golden doodle fur babies, and grandmother of 10+! I enjoy staying active and living and experiencing life to its fullest. I love camping, hiking, traveling, gardening, yard work, and spending time around the bonfire or gameboard with family and friends. While I understand and recognize the significance of experiencing difficulties or a painful past; I stress the importance of identifying how we can rise above and overcome despite those circumstances. I am honored and humbled by the opportunity to come alongside others to restore hope, health, and families!
