Story time....
On June 7th last summer an adventurous Mother son Duo headed up the mountain to search for some earthen delights, This particular day was a very wet- and rainy day, Pretty much raining sideways, That didn't deter them a bit!
They headed up to the Top Ledge and within minutes the son , a teenager I guess to be around 15 ish found THIS!! 🔥🔥💎🔥🔥
This beauty was a ground score!! He went to a fresh Tailings pile and this mountain beauty was there waiting for him!! 🩵💎🩵
At the end of the day we love seeing how everyone did, We all share in the excitement of the finds, We were BLOWN AWAY by this one!! ⚒️💎⚒️
In the center of this skeletal was a root too! 🌲
This was the moment we rinsed it off, I wish I started earlier when the young man showed us, It was muddy and covered, We had no idea what was waiting beneath the mud...

I left the sound,

We are offering ten passes per day, Space is limited!

Our Gem Pass allows access to our Top Ledge, There guests have the opportunity to search for genuine Herkimer Diamond Quartz crystals and rare Little Falls Scepter Crystals! ⚒️💎⚒️

Mining Cost:
$75 per Adult -
( $25 Deposit Required to hold reservation)
$15 per Junior Rockhound Pass Ages 6-16 ( no deposit required for kids, Let us know they are coming on the reservation))
Children Five and under Free

⚒️Check in at 8:30 , Mining until 5 ⚒️

Guests have access to two large open pit mines, Along with several newly opened ledge areas to explore!⚒️
We have solid Ledge, easy moving dirt digging, Tailings for sifting and plenty of Herkimer Diamond Quartz bearing Dolostone to break!

Bob went up there to check on the mine and did a little digging and came down with this cutie ⚒️💎⚒️I especially like that internal dolomite inclusion near the termination! Along with that defined solid black rod inclusion!

This epic mountain crystal was discovered over the summer by a very lucky,hardworking rock hounding couple! ⚒️ This dynamic duo rolled up their sleeves and moved some serious earth, Look what they discovered!
This came from the Big Dig HOT Zone, Surrounded by literally THREE 5 gallon buckets FULL of Crystals!! They HIT HUGE- Several Big ones like this, Highly formed along with a whole flat of funky black crystals too!
These were jaw droppers which is exactly what happened when they showed us, Our jaws dropped! Just WOW! 😲

This crystal with this long crystal growing out of it along with all the internal growth and rainbows too is what gets us excited!
