Story time...
These pictures are from last years exciting discovery
"Wowie! We have discovered something so EXCITING! ✨✨
👉While prospecting the other day we found an ancient screen, (old- from before us)
We went up to the spot and started exploring, Druzy stone everywhere, Found at least a dozen shiny vugs without breaking rock! Easy to access, Right below The Gem Mine!! "
Well, We worked this area throughout the season, and got into some brilliant Druzy, Grey's, salt and peppers, and bright and clear! All easily accessible, This area is open to our guests, We also dropped below the Big Dig and began pulling back the ledge, Discovering a new lower ledge at the Top producing brilliant gems!

🌿⚒️ We spent a few hours in the homesteads old bottle dump yesterday before supper...
⚒️First time this year getting in there, We discovered that the gorge is still covered in snow and ice, and the earth was frozen solid still in some places...
Here's a few finds...Bob pulled an incredible tiny bottle, my best was a little pharmacy bottle, Couldn't get the lid off, A few curious finds, Including what looks like the top of an old butter churn 🍶⚒️Many bottle tops that would have been amazing and old, A couple spoons, and so much broken mystery glass..
This morning the mountain is blanketed in snow, We woke to winter again ❄️🍶❄️

Holy Smokes! This big ole beauty was mined May 7th Opening week last season by one of our guests! That Size and it's exceptional formation had our full Attention, Just WOW!
Collected by one hardworking tough mountain momma! She dug this out of the Big Dig Mine, The beginnings of the hot run on that right side!
