For our January , we’d like you to meet Art!
He was chosen because he enjoys participating in daily activities. Art is a proud World War II veteran, a highly accomplished civil engineer, and an artist. Throughout his career, he designed inventions for exhaust fans and laboratories and earned two patents focused on energy conservation. This month, Art will celebrate an incredible milestone—his 100th birthday.
One thing he loves about living at The Barclay is the people! He also appreciates the excellent service he receives during his dining experiences.
If he could give one piece of advice, it would be, “Be honest. You have to be honest—if you can’t be honest with life, you won’t make it.”
Fun fact: Music holds a special place in Art’s heart. His favorite song is “It’s a Sin to Tell a Lie.” He and his wife loved dancing the jitterbug, especially to “In the Mood,” which remains a cherished memory for him.
Art has brought so much life to The Barclay, and we are so lucky to have him!
