Job Title: In-Home Caregiver - Veteran Caregiving Service

Summary:
MagRho Guardian Angel LLC - Veteran Caregiver Service is dedicated to providing exceptional and compassionate in-home care to our nation's veterans. We are seeking reliable and dedicated In-Home Caregivers who are passionate about supporting the well-being and independence of those who have served our country. As an integral member of our team, you will assist veterans with daily living activities, provide meaningful companionship, and ensure a safe and comfortable home environment. We value individuals who are respectful, empathetic, and committed to honoring the unique needs and experiences of our veteran clients. Both full-time and part-time positions are available.
Responsibilities:
-Assist veteran clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
-Support clients with mobility and safe transfers, as needed.
Provide medication reminders to ensure adherence to prescribed medications.
-Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks, considering any dietary requirements or preferences.
-Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, organized, and safe living space.
-Offer meaningful companionship and engage in activities that promote the client's mental and emotional well-being, such as conversation, reminiscing, and accompanying them on outings.
-Assist with errands, social activities, and other engagements, as needed.
-Observe and report any changes in the client's physical, mental, or emotional condition to the appropriate individuals.
-Follow individualized care plans developed to meet the specific needs of each veteran.
-Document care provided accurately and promptly.
-Maintain a respectful, dignified, and empathetic approach, recognizing and honoring the veteran's service and experiences.
-Ensure a safe and supportive environment for the client at all times.
Qualifications:
-Must possess a valid driver's license.
-Must be able to pass a SLED background check (State Law Enforcement Division).
-Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
- Previous experience in caregiving, home health, or working with veterans is highly valued.
-First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
-Demonstrated patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to providing quality care to veterans.
-Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and manage time effectively.
-Respect for the unique needs and challenges faced by veterans.
Schedule:
-Full-time and part-time positions available.
-Flexible hours, day shifts, evening shifts, weekend availability.
Compensation:
Starting pay: $16 - $20 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
