June is Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness Month, a time to raise awareness, show support, and honor those affected by Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. We are proud to support our residents and families with compassion, understanding, and meaningful moments of connection each day. Together, we can continue to spread awareness, education, and hope within our community.

Our Pathways to Discovery residents visited Horse Play Farms, where they got to groom, feed, and spend time with the horses up close. The day also included a hayride, a craft, and a snack, and the group came home already talking about when they can go back.

Second graders from Valorous Academy School stopped by for a special end-of-year intergenerational visit, filling the afternoon with laughter and conversation. Our residents and the children swapped stories, enjoyed activities together, and traded plenty of smiles in the process.

Our residents spent an afternoon with Traveling Serendipity, singing along to familiar songs that lifted spirits and brought plenty of smiles across the room. Live music has a way of doing that, easing anxiety, building confidence, and turning an ordinary afternoon into something worth holding onto.

Our Pathways to Discovery residents had a wonderful time at the Pelicans baseball game enjoying popcorn, snow cones, and the beautiful fresh air. Outings like these give residents the chance to stay active, connect with one another, and revisit meaningful moments from years past.
