Lunch at Olive Garden is always a blast! Laughter with friends, great food, lighthearted conversations, and a few cocktails make it our favorite way to wrap up the week. A big thank you to the wonderful team member for always taking such great care of us. We appreciate you! 🍝😋

Our Pathways to Discovery residents loved making Easter crafts. They colored and painted different eggs with a scene, choosing bright colors to complete the project. We enjoyed singing Easter songs and playing a game of Easter Jeopardy during the session. Benefits for older adults for arts and crafts can improve fine motor skills, cognitive function, and emotional well-being. Completing a craft can bring such pride, accomplishment, and motivation to stay active. After finishing the art, the residents were so proud to take them to their rooms for display.

Our Pathways to Discovery residents loved their trip to Sunset Beach Park! We took full advantage of the beautiful spring-like weather by enjoying the outdoors and connecting with nature. 🌳 Residents had fun swinging, learning about different trees, and simply enjoying each other’s company. Outings like these remind us how special parks are in bringing people together, encouraging conversation, and creating meaningful moments in a peaceful setting. ☀️✨

This weekend, our favorite four-legged friend Tater Tot stopped by for a visit. Our residents played ball, danced, and laughed with this silly boy. 🐶😊

During today's Snack & Chef, we made St. Patrick’s Day cookies and Rice Krispies treats for our community celebration. Everyone enjoyed the sweet treats, what a fun and delicious way to celebrate together! 🍀🍪✨

Yesterday, we went to Mama Jean’s Country Cooking for lunch. It was our first time visiting this local spot and it was so very yummy. We chatted with fellow locals and made some new friends while enjoying our delicious meal. 🍽️😊

Our Pathways to Discovery residents enjoyed baking brownies at their Snack and Chef session. They worked wonderfully as a team by reading the directions, gathering the ingredients, stirring the batter, and placing everything in the oven to bake.

After all their hard work, everyone enjoyed delicious brownies topped with vanilla ice cream. It was such a treat to enjoy a snack they worked together to create. Activities like Snack and Chef help residents use vocational skills, follow directions, and build teamwork while enhancing quality of life. As we always say, teamwork makes the dream work! 🍫🍨

Our Pathways to Discovery residents worked on a variety of artwork, painting their favorite farm animals. They chose the animal they loved most and brought it to life on canvas while playing an animal trivia game together. It was a fabulous session focused on creativity, communication, and reminiscence therapy. 🎨🖌️
