It’s been two years since our journey with POTS began for Joshua and it still is difficult many days but with the proper mentality we can get through anything! 💜

A quick lesson about autoimmune diseases. It takes an average of 3 years and 5 doctors for a person to get a proper diagnosis of an autoimmune disease. I just wish more people understood what an autoimmune disease is. It is not a cold or the flu; you will never get better, and even a nap will not help. Just eating a salad and hitting the gym won’t slim your face or get the pounds off. Sleeping 10 hours doesn’t leave you well rested, ever. Last minute changes in plans because that “just got ran over” feeling. Achy joints and bones, dry skin, breaking hair, mood swings, and depression are just the tip of the iceberg. You are also prone to having multiple autoimmune diseases. The “put together on the outside,” rarely matches the raging battle on the inside.
I am watching the ones who will take the time to read this entire post and react.

This is so important so please share.

I would like to expose a situation. If your children (or grandchildren) don’t learn to play with children with special needs at school, maybe you should spend 10 minutes tonight explaining it to them. Because, although they don't currently live with these children at school, they will find them in their lives for sure.
In light of recent events regarding the exclusion of a child with autism from attending a school trip and a child with Down Syndrome being expelled from dance class because she couldn't keep up with it, I feel the need to share this. There are boys and girls that no one invites to birthday parties. There are special children who want to be part of a team but are not selected because it's more important to win than to include these children. Kids with special needs aren't weird, they just want what everyone wants: to be accepted!
Can I ask a question? Is there anyone willing to COPY AND PASTE this post on their wall for all the special children out there?
Please teach your children to be kind to these beautiful children!

A person sends you a friend request. They look nice enough, so you check them out on FB before accepting. Awe, they have a wife or husband and just the cutest kids. You don't know them; but, they have a family on their profile and their info looks legit; so you accept their friend request.

Later on....

It's your baby girl's first day of school. She looks SO cute in her new outfit and you just have to take a picture and post it on Facebook so all your friends and family can see.

You're so excited dropping her off that you 'Check in' to her school on FB saying...”I can't believe how big she's gotten. Time sure flies. One proud momma/daddy right here.”

Meanwhile, the mystery person whose friend request you hurriedly accepted previously, is saving that photo you posted of your daughter in her cute new outfit and texting it to 60 grown men across the world with the caption - American Female, Age 8,
Brown Hair, Blue Eyes, ID # R8000.

Not only did you provide a picture of your little girl to a child trafficker, you've handed them the name and exact location of her school on a silver cyber platter.

You go to pick her up at 3:00 this afternoon; but, she's nowhere to be found.

Little do you know, your precious baby girl was sold to a 43 year old pe*****le before you even stepped foot off campus this morning; and, now she's on her way to Asia with a bag over her head, confused, terrified and crying.
A strange man she's never seen before, snatched her up from school in less than 10 seconds. She doesn't know where her parents are, where she's going, or what's going to happen next, it’s hard for her to breathe and she’s all alone and terrified!!!!! And, YOU did this to her, unknowingly...
But, now you know 😳

This isn't fear mongering, being paranoid or just another Facebook post to stir things up. This is REAL LIFE! REALITY! I'm sure everyone whose had a child abducted never thought it would happen to them. It's a shame the world has come to this but it has. The are evil people in this world just waiting for each of us to let our guard down.

STOP ADDING STRANGERS ON FACEBOOK!!!

STOP posting everything about your Life and Kids on FACEBOOK!!!

Avoid posting children's photos, or on profiles! Change your Hometown! Don’t post Towns or Locations! People who know you, know where you live!
And don't post pictures of them in swimsuits or recital clothing.

My children are grown but I have grandchildren that I would give my last breath for. I couldn't sleep knowing this had happened to one of them.

Share if you want too but everyone really needs to hear this and take it seriously.

I'm told (was educated) that chemo, radiotherapy (and immunotherapy) treatment, can take years until you feel alive again ... With the side effects of chemo and radiation, you will never be 100% again because your immune system is weak. Ruins marriages, families and relationships with friends. Because you're not the same again after cancer and treatments. In the hardest moments you know who your real friends are or who the people are who appreciate you. Unfortunately, like with most friendships, Facebook friends will leave you in the middle of a story. They want a post to ′′like′′ for the story, but they don't really read your message when they see it is long. More than half have stopped reading. Someone may have already gone to the next post in their newsfeed. I have decided to publish this post in support of close family, friends and relatives who have fought this horrible disease.
Now I'm focusing on those who take the time to read this post to the end ... a little test, just to see who reads and who shares without reading.
Cancer is a very aggressive and destructive enemy of our bodies. Even after treatment, the body is devastated. It's a very long process. I would like to know who I can count on and who takes the time to read this. When you have finished this, write ′′Done′′ in the comments. Sadly, cancer is still the illness of the century. Please, in honor of someone who died, or who is battling cancer. Everyone says, ′′If you need anything, don't hesitate: I'll be there for you.′′ So I'm going to make a bet, without being pessimistic: I know my family and friends will put it on their wall. You just have to copy. I did it for someone very, very, special! We all know someone who stood before us, and who has fought or who is still fighting! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
