We're proud to announce that Hannah McDaniel is our Volunteer of the Year!

What makes Hannah stand out as an amazing volunteer is her connection to the families and patients she serves. Hannah said, "My most meaningful experience as a volunteer so far has been attending a patient's 65th wedding anniversary. The family was so welcoming to me and they all thanked me for being there to support them through this difficult time."

Hannah shines brightly in her service and we honor her with this award!

Volunteers provide companionship to patients, help families with errands, or work in our office with administrative tasks. A month-long journey became an amazing celebration this week as members of the Baptist Health Home Health hospice team gathered with Dr. Cagle Harrendorf's friends and family to celebrate the story of his life.

With the help of two very special hospice volunteers, Dr. Harrendorf's dream of writing a memoir came to life. He was so proud and thankful to have this work to leave for his family. The dozens of people who came in and out to celebrate with him are a testament to his life.

Congratulations, Dr. Harrendorf! We are so thankful and proud of our team of clinicians, social workers, chaplains, and volunteers! Without you, none of what we do would be possible.
