Your back hurting all the time is usually not random.

Most of the time there is a reason behind it. I see it every day in the clinic.

A lot of people sit most of the day and their spine stays in the same position for hours. Over time that creates stiffness and irritation.

Weak core and glute muscles can also force the lower back to do more work than it should.

Sometimes it is an old injury that never fully healed, or posture changes from years of working at a desk or looking down at a phone.

When pain keeps showing up, it is your body asking for attention.

The goal is not just temporary relief. The goal is fixing the reason it keeps coming back.

We invite you to check out our Google Reviews. You may find yourself in one of them.

Every patient has come to us with some level of skepticism.

Some have been burned in the past. We hate it for them.
Some thought their issue wasn’t bad enough yet.

For both, when we took time to find the root cause, connect the dots, and explain what it will take to get long term results, they realized our mission, truly, is to Advance their unique situation.

Cutting sports break athletes who never train cutting.

Rugby, soccer, football… the game changes in a split second and your body has to absorb force, control momentum, and explode in a new direction.

Most athletes only practice cutting during the game. Very few actually train it.

This athlete isn’t in pain. That’s exactly why we’re doing this now.

We’re building the mechanics, control, and resilience so when the game speeds up his body is ready for it.

Stack the odds in your favor. 🏉💪

These are the kinds of concepts I break down in my book, It’s The Way You Move.

Most people dealing with pain fall into one of two groups.

Those who have already tried physical therapy, chiropractic, or other treatments and are skeptical that Advance Chiropractic & Performance’s approach would be any different.

Or those who feel something is off but tell themselves it is not bad enough yet because they can still do most of the things they want. It only flares up every now and then.

What both groups usually discover is that pain doesn’t tell the full story. When we take the time to guide them through how the body works, they start connecting the dots between what hurts and what is actually causing it.

That is the purpose of this book. To help people understand the root cause of chronic pain that often gets overlooked.

If you live in Central Arkansas and want help figuring out what might actually be driving your pain, send us a DM and we’ll schedule a quick call to help you find clarity.

Low back pain when you run?

Has anyone actually watched you run outside?

Not on a treadmill.

Not in slow motion on your phone.
Outside. On the ground you actually run on.

Your body moves differently when the speed, surface, and environment are real.

If no one has watched you run, you might be guessing at the problem.

You know something works when everyone can see the difference.

As a chiropractor, the best part of my job is seeing someone get their life back. When a patient starts moving better, feeling stronger, and becoming active again, that is the real win. It is not just about relieving pain. It is about helping the body function the way it was meant to.

I am proud of every patient who commits to the process and puts in the work. Those results are earned, and it is always an honor to be part of that journey. 💪

“Am I going to have to baby my back forever?”

Our patients tell us this all the time.

They’ve already tried stretching more.
Strengthening their core.
Being extra careful when they lift, run, or even pick up their kids.

And for a while it feels manageable… until the flare-up comes back again.

The frustrating part is no one ever explained why it keeps happening.

So people start believing their back is fragile.
Like they always need to move cautiously, skip workouts, or avoid
certain movements.

But being careful forever is not a real solution.

In most cases, the issue isn’t that your back is weak or damaged.
It’s that the real cause of the problem was never addressed.

Our patients tell us the biggest shift wasn’t just feeling better.

It was finally trusting their body again.
Lifting without hesitation.
Training without constantly thinking about their back.

That kind of confidence only comes when the root of the problem is actually solved.

Squats shouldn’t hurt your lower back. If they do, you’re doing this wrong.

A lot of people think back pain means they have to stop exercising. They stop squatting, stop going to the gym, and slowly start avoiding the movements they used to love.

But most of the time, the problem is not that your body is weak or broken. It is that your body is compensating.

When your core and hips are not doing their job, your lower back tries to take over. And that is when the pain shows up.

The good news is your body is not failing you. It is asking for better support.

When you learn to engage your core, move your hips properly, and control the movement, squats can actually help your back feel stronger.

Pain should not be the reason you stop moving. Sometimes it is the signal that your body just needs the right guidance.

Pain doesn’t always start where you feel it.

A lot of people focus on the area that hurts. They rub it, stretch it, or try to strengthen it. Sometimes that helps for a little while, but the pain keeps coming back.

That is because the painful area is not always the real problem.

The body is connected. A restriction, weakness, or joint issue in one area can create stress somewhere else. Your body then sends the pain signal to that stressed area.

For example, a neck issue can show up as shoulder pain. A hip problem can show up as low back pain.

If we only treat the painful spot, we may miss the real cause. The goal is to find the source of the problem and address it so the body can move and function the way it should.

If you have pain that keeps returning, it may be time to look deeper than the spot that hurts.

Surgeries taught me this the hard way. Taking care of your body is not just about avoiding pain. It is about being able to enjoy moments like this with my kids.

Low back tight? Try the long squat.

This position helps open up the hips and take pressure off the lower back.

Most people with back pain are stuck sitting all day.

Your hips get stiff, your back takes the load.

Sit into a long squat, keep your chest tall, and breathe for 30–60 seconds.

Simple reset. Big difference.

Save this for later and try it after a long day of sitting.
