We've made it to the final weekly tarot reading of 2024! This has been such a fun and interesting project for me and I hope you all enjoyed it as well. I'll be changing up the frequency and style in 2025 so keep an eye on the moon phases to know when the next card will be pulled/posted.

For our final pull, we have the Four of Cups. This card reminds us to turn our attention inward to find the truth, to avoid distractions, and to examine our hearts and minds to find clarity. Disappointment is a fact of life (unfortunately). Being open to new experiences and being unafraid of finding some new kind of motivation will make it easier to find some positive force in our personal worlds. Action is required to break out of the funk we've found ourselves in.

This week we pulled the Nine of Wands. This card indicates that we're losing steam but we still have enough energy and momentum to move forward. It may take all of our strength, but there *is* enough left in us to get through any setbacks we may encounter in the days ahead. Be willing and ready to defend yourself - you have the experience and ability to persevere even when the going gets tough.

The Emperor is a stable force. Think of him as a healthy father figure who understands and enforces the importance of order and reason. He's a ruler, not a tyrant. The Emperor reminds us to remain open and receptive to others, to remain calm, and to use a fair/reasonable amount of discipline to create the best outcomes for the situations we're in.

We've made it to December!

This week we have the King of Cups. This king is the epitome of stability, having mastered the delicate balance between feelings and thoughts. He understands his emotions but is not controlled by them. He understands the wisdom of kindness, and he reminds us to keep our hearts open, keep our heads in check, and find ways to bring balance to the situations we encounter in our day to day lives.

This deck has really said, "Oops! All Major Arcana!" huh? We must have some things to unpack this month.

For this final week of November, we pulled The Devil. This card really focuses on the inner forces that prevent us from living the lives we want. We aren't powerless to these self-constraints - breaking free is as simple as cutting the ties that bind us (but that's always easier said than done). You deserve to be free from harmful bonds that hold you back. Push past the fear (or do it scared) - you have the power, and the universe believes in you wholeheartedly.

How are we holding up this week? Slightly better, I hope 💜

We have the Ten of Coins (pentacles) for this week. This card is one of the most positive cards inside the deck. When it appears in difficult times, it is trying to remind us to look ahead to the beautiful future we can create if we continue to work hard for the things we love. Remember where your allies and support systems are - call upon them should you need any assistance whatsoever. When you have the energy, try to do what you can to make a difference for the future - even small things can add up over time. The peace, love, and kindness you put out into the world will be returned to you in due time.

Last week was rough to say the least. I'm sending all my love to my fellow Americans (as well as to the rest of the world).

The Hermit appeared this week. This card reminds us to find some way to safely isolate ourselves in order to recuperate and refocus our energies. Now is a time to execute some self-care and learn as much as we can to prepare for what is ahead.

I really like the design of this particular card in this deck. The artist of this deck explained their reasoning behind including the imagery of a wasp as follows: "The wasp symbolizes the beauty revealed when fear is removed."

We've officially made it to November! This year has flown by.
For this week, we have the Fool. The Fool is all about potential and new beginnings. It is an innocent card that has an air of adventure attached to it. They take a leap of faith and trust that wherever they land will be the best next step on their journey. They remind us to let go of fear and embrace whatever is ahead of us. It is always scary to step into the unknown, but it's a necessary part of our journeys.

For this beautiful final week of October (and the Halloween / Samhain holiday), we pulled the Sun! The Sun represents success and abundance - warmth, and life are plentiful and now is a good time to accept the opportunities we are presented with.

We have the High Priestess for this week - if you remember, we also pulled her about 8-weeks ago during the final week of August.
The High Priestess is incredibly skilled at balancing the seen and unseen. She often likes to appear when we need to look to our dreams and unconscious mind for guidance. She urges us to take some alone time to really hear our own voices. Reconnecting with our intuition and re-learning to trust our gut will help us in the long term.

This week we have the nine of pumpkins (pentacles)! This card symbolizes wise hard work and the rewards that come with it. It reminds us to understand our power and to use that understanding to be able to stand strong on our own two feet. Wise investments are another theme carried by the nine of pumpkins (pentacles), and the best investment you can make is in yourself. Her energy is strong and encouraging, and serves to remind us that a simple appreciation of the good that life has to offer can take us further than we think it can.
