Have you ever noticed that when you decide to “cut back” or start a new diet, your cravings for food skyrocket?! Let me introduce to you the binge-restrict cycle. It is SO true for so many people because of how closely our emotions are tied to food.

The best advice I can give someone who finds themselves in this cycle frequently is to continue to eat sufficient the day following a binge so that this cycle doesn’t occur over and over again.

“Health” gurus on social media may have lead you to believe that you need to get your vegetables from the organic fresh produce section at Whole Foods… but lemme tell ya something… you don’t. I’m a frozen veggie girl through & through.

Did you know that frozen and/or canned vegetables…

• still hold the same nutritional value that fresh veggies have
• require less prep
• last longer in your pantry or freezer
