Not everyone celebrates Mother's Day quite the same way, if at all.

What are some ways you take care of yourself?

Do you check in with your body? Do you feel any pain anywhere?

Do you check in with your mind? Is it racing, or recycling old, inefficient stories?

Do you check in with your emotions? Has one negative emotion been the theme of these recent weeks?

It's always a good idea to check in on where you're at. Your entire being has a way of letting you know what you need, or at least that you're in need.

Check in. Listen in. Breathe. Pause. Rest.

If you're in need of safe touch, massage can be such a great way to help you tune in to what your being in saying.

Some of my clients have noted that massage really makes them aware of themselves.

It's also how you talk to yourself. How you talk about yourself. What beliefs you hold about yourself and how you validate that story.

What story do you want to write about your soul? How can you treat yourself better?

Working the retreat for Mariposa's Place of Wellness has been a fun adventure so far.

Some of my favorite things about it are that I feel I'm disconnecting from the loud city life for a moment when I'm there. The only sounds I hear when there are the trees shuffling in the wind and the wildlife doing its thing.

I loved getting to throw wood into the fire pit and listening in on a guided meditation. It made me feel so Zen when I continued giving massages.

You should definitely see how you can book a retreat here. I guarantee you'll have a wonderful time. You might even see me!

The last pic is of some mullein I saw growing on my way into the building. I love seeing mullein out and about.
