Before tonight's Parkway Village play performance began, the audience was entertained by the No Rhythm Band, an all employee group, and the Parkway Family Dancers, comprised of residents Pat Price, Myra Wylie, Martha Kordsmeier, and Dot Bonner; as well as a demonstration by therapy dog Doc Murphy and his owner, Steve Brackins.

Henrietta (Greta Isbell) had an absolutely horrible day that became a hilarious comeback with help from her daughter Doris (Sherry Scott) and Sam Scam (Charles Canerday) who was able to put a stop to the scams! Parkway Village independent living residents staged "Fool Me Once: Henrietta's Absolutely Horrible Day." The would-be scammers were played by residents Jim Lancaster, Mary Ruth Brown, Barbara Gillum, Steve Brackins, and Ron Paulson. Additional parts were played by Judy and John Ferrin, and the MC for the night was Roger McMennamy.
