We honored our Parkway Village veterans Tuesday with a special program. Veteran and resident Bill Hirst shared recollections of service while the Central High School Junior ROTC served as honor guard. We also enjoyed the US flags put out on our grounds by the Scouts from Highland Valley United Methodist Church.

Today's field trip for Parkway Village's independent living residents was to the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts for the class Drawing Compositions: Still-Life and Botanical Form. Taught by Lily, Dominique, and Bailey, residents learned new drawing techniques with hands-on instruction. A delicious lunch followed in the Park Grill.
