The reasons to register as an eye donor are clear. Everyone is a potential donor– blood types do not matter to donate eyes and tissue. Neither do eye color and eyesight! Since 1961, more than 2 million people have had their sight restored through corneal transplantation, and you can be a part of that success. Register to become an eye donor at werestorelives.org πŸ’™πŸ’šπŸ‘οΈ

A Marine officer and proud father of three, Pete enjoys spending his retirement years gardening, cooking, and fishing. On one of these fishing trips, a small wound on Pete's leg became infected and became so painful that he could no longer walk properly. Despite numerous treatments over 10 months, the wound would not get better. Then his doctor suggested advanced treatment options that used placental grafts; after 4 graft placements, his wound finally began to heal.
Weeks after completing his wound treatments, Pete felt like a new man. He enjoys being able to move around again, and he is now so active that he has lost over 40 lbs. He wrote letters to his donors, who generously donated the placental grafts that helped him heal. β€œAll I can say is thank you. You have really changed my life. I could barely walk before, but you have given me hope through your donation.” πŸ’™πŸ’š Thank you to MTF Biologics for this story! Learn more about tissue donation at www.werestorelives.org
