Apparently there is a cyber attack against the company that supplies our phone service. If you cannot reach us you can page me through the medical exchange if you have an emergency. 501-663-8400. If you need to come in tomorrow and cannot reach us, I have a procedure from 1-2 and from 7:30-9 but should be in the office the rest of the day on Tuesday 9/28/21.

02/10/2021

The office will be closed on Thursday 2/11/20 (unless you are having a scheduled surgery). No one will be answering the phone. If you have an emergency you can reach me through the Pulaski County Medical exchange at 663-8400. It may take a while to answer as I will be in surgery most of the morning. Please stay at home or drive carefully during the ice storm.

ASRM and ACOG Issue Joint Statement

Medical Experts Continue to Assert that COVID Vaccines
Do Not Impact Fertility

The following is a statement from the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) and the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM):

“Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, patients have had questions about the impact of the virus on their health. Now, as the rollout of the COVID vaccines progresses, patients similarly have questions about whether the vaccine is right for their individual health needs.

“As experts in reproductive health, we continue to recommend that the vaccine be available to pregnant individuals. We also assure patients that there is no evidence that the vaccine can lead to loss of fertility. While fertility was not specifically studied in the clinical trials of the vaccine, no loss of fertility has been reported among trial participants or among the millions who have received the vaccines since their authorization, and no signs of infertility appeared in animal studies. Loss of fertility is scientifically unlikely.”

For more information, please visit ACOG’s Practice Advisory on Vaccinating Pregnant and Lactating Patients Against COVID-19.

01/19/2021

The American Society of Reproductive Medicine recommends patients wanting to conceive should take the COVID vaccine. Recent data from the Pfizer vaccine study showed no effect on fertility. There was no difference in conception rates in the vaccine and the control groups.

Hope everyone has had a happy holiday season. Congratulations to all our patients that have achieved a pregnancy this year. Here is hoping that everyone still on their fertility journey can achieve their dream next year.

11/25/2020

Happy Thanksgiving to all. The office will be closed until Monday. Stay safe and remember social distancing.

I do all infertility treatments except IVF. However, there is an IVF program in Colorado and Albany, New York that does IVF for about half the price of local IVF options. You do a Zoom meeting with them and then can see me for ultrasounds and labs. Then you go to Colorado or NY for egg retrieval and transfer. They are a good program with good pregnancy rates but they are a much lower cost option.

05/12/2020

We are now fully open. We request you wear masks. Baptist does not allow children in the building at this time. If you are here for fertility treatment your husband can come with you.
