Archway is excited about the installation of one of our latest projects, ArkBest Headquarters. The 203,000 SF, four story building is located within Chaffee Crossing Development in Fort Smith, Arkansas is a total of 30 acres with 1,200 parking spaces.

The new Hot Springs Junior Academy is a 150,000 SF project for the Hot Springs School District. includes a 1,000 seat auditorium, 2,200 seat basketball arena, full-size auxiliary gym, and a three-story classroom wing.

Archway provided a complete interior and exterior sign package. The exterior signage is a mix of flush mount and rail-mounted LED channel letters. Once inside the main lobby, visitors are met with large lightboxes that immediately identify the different areas the lobby connects. The lightboxes are the result of a custom collaboration involving recessed pockets with LED lighting, translucent panels and dimensional lettering. The panels are a custom matte finish translucent polycarbonate with black dimensional lettering mounted to the wall with stainless steel standoffs.

The room signs are thermoformed acrylic with some signs having contrasting accent backers. Donor and directional lettering consisted of ½” black PVC lettering.

Mary Helen Mills with Nora/Interface joined me in delivering “Dinner for Designers”. We gave them a meal for Valentine’s Day and they added the romance! Our planned delivery had to be moved up due to weather. The Valentine surprise ended up being an early snow-day surprise! Diane’s Gourmet Food was nice enough to get the meals done a day early so the delivery could be done before we were iced in. No worries about the dinners thawing out while delivering! Everyone was very appreciative of having a meal in time for the “stay at home” day!

We are excited about one of our recently completed projects, The Haywood, located one block away from the Griffin Music Hall in downtown El Dorado, Arkansas, in the heart of the Murphy Arts District.

Working with AMR Architects and Clark Contractors, this 4 story hotel features a 22' tall LED illuminated flag sign with push-through graphics, and halo illuminated stainless steel letters in the main entrance, and the Well Bar Sign and interior ADA compliant wayfinding and room signs.

The hotel invites you in with the relaxing front porch and the entertaining bar and den area. Plan your stay in one of the 70 guest rooms where you can view works of art from Arkansas artist hand-selected by Shelby Cotton, a Little Rock-based designer. While you are there, be sure to grab a selfie in front of one of the illuminated signs and tag us on social!

Want to make your electrical sign last TWICE as long?
