Last month, we had a wonderful experience assisting AMDPA alongside .snma with a health fair to serve our community. We conducted blood pressure and glucose screenings. We also provided patient counseling on maintaining healthy blood pressure levels and managing glucose levels to prevent diabetes. Thank you to our preceptors, Dr. Marlene Battle and Dr. Pilar Murphy for the opportunity to volunteer.

Last month, we had the honor of participating in the AHA 100 years anniversary. Our students conducted blood pressure assessments and educated on the importance of keeping your blood pressure under control. Special thanks to our preceptor, Dr. Chase Petersen for taking time off his Friday to be with us.
