(P.s. They are literally soliciting “vote for me” ads that businesses can buy, $1300 for a 1/4 page up to $5000 for a full page ad!) 🙄

Licensed Acupuncturists, who have four years of training (~4000 hours, including 800 clinical hours prior to licensing), are not covered as acupuncture providers for treatments under Medicare.

Meanwhile, the providers who are covered have this much training:
MD’s - 300 hours
Chiropractors - 100 hours
Physical Therapists - 24 hours (one weekend), which doesn’t include safety training.
These minimal training times are not even required by statute (except for chiropractors), it’s just the length of the courses.

Choose wisely.
