Dentist Dr. Ned Alley (right) and dental hygienist Kim Craig (left) extract a tooth from David James of North Little Rock on Friday, Nov. 1, 2024, during the third annual Operation Stand Down at Alley’s office in Little Rock. Alley and seven other dentists donated their time on Friday to provide free dental work to about 35 veterans. The Arkansas Department of Veterans Affairs (ADVA) is joining private dental offices around the state on Friday, November 1, for the 3rd Annual Operation Stand Down.

The event provides free dental treatment for Veterans. Some of the services offered include:

• Acute/Urgent Pain Relief
• Extractions
• X-Rays
• Routine Maintenance
• Perio Treatment

Veterans must present a DD-214 for verification purposes to receive treatment.
