This 38-year-old patient first came to us in 2024 for removal of excess skin and tissue of abdomen following the loss of 15 pounds and requested a panniculectomy alone as she reported complaints of irritation under her abdominal pannus. At that time, she was 2 months out from liposuction of her abdomen with a Brazilian butt lift with another surgeon out of state. After allowing the patient 5 months to heal from the BBL, a panniculectomy was performed by Dr. David Sterling, MD.

Of note, 10 months after her panniculectomy, she had liposuction performed on her abdomen out of state. She is now over 1 year out from her panniculectomy with these photos depicting before and 13 months post-op from her original surgery with Dr. Sterling and 3 months from liposuction.

This patient underwent a bilateral nipple-sparing mastectomy with Dr. Daniela Ochoa, MD, followed by immediate breast reconstruction with placement of tissue expanders by Dr. David Sterling, MD for the first stage of reconstruction.

This 57-year-old patient came to us seeking a more contoured, natural look after her 60 lb weight loss following laparoscopic gastric bypass surgery. She was particularly interested in refining the appearance of her adomen and thighs while maintaining a natural result.

Using a customized approach, our board certified plastic surgeon, Dr. David Sterling, MD, performed a 360 lipoabdominoplasty with bilateral mediai thigh liposuction for truncal and thigh contouring to address excess skin and improved overall contour to enhance her post-weight loss transformation.

With this patient being only 3 months post-op, her scars are still in the healing stage and appear pinkish-red, but will continue to lighten up to fade to a more natural skin tone over the next 9 months or so with continued scar care.

This patient presented to clinic with complaints of dissatisfaction with the excess skin and tissue of her upper eyelids that impacted her vision. Dr. Sterling performed an in-office upper blepharoplasty with lateral brow lift and ptosis repair to bilateral eyes. These photos show her results at 3 months post-op. The patient has reported happiness with results and improvement in vision. And overall has a more refreshed, natural look.

Transformation Tuesday - Face and Neck Lift

This patient is just 2 months post-op following deep plane face and neck lift and 30% TCA chemical peel to lower eyelids. She wanted facial rejuvenation to address signs of aging. She was particularly unhappy with excess skin and looseness of her neck and jawline. She also wanted to address the skin laxity and fine lines of her lower eyelids. Dr. Sterling performed her face and neck lift as well as the chemical peel to her lower eyelids in the operating room to help achieve her goals. With these photos only being 2 months post-operative, her scars are still in the healing stage with some redness appreciated but will continue to fade into a thin, pale scar over the next year.
