Today we laid to rest a man who was much more than a delivery driver to us — he was part of our family. For 30 years, Wayne Larue faithfully served our customers and community with kindness, dependability, and a smile so many came to know well.

This afternoon, Wayne was honored and buried at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, a fitting resting place for someone who served others so faithfully throughout his life. The service was complete with the playing of Amazing Grace on the bagpipes.

We are grateful for the years, the memories, the conversations, and the care he gave so freely. Wayne’s absence will be deeply felt behind the wheel, in our store, and in the hearts of everyone who knew him.

Please continue to keep his family, friends, and all who loved him in your thoughts and prayers. Wayne’s legacy of service and kindness will not be forgotten.

We would like to thank all of you for the kind words, flowers and your patience with our staff during this time. Thank you for those of you who came to Wayne’s visitation last night and those of you who attended his service today- touched doesn’t express our gratitude.

With heavy hearts, we announced the passing of Wayne Larue on April 24, 2026. For over 30 years, Wayne has been our delivery driver, which many of you have counted on. He knew that and took great pride in his work . Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers during this most difficult time. The Drug Store staff was Wayne's second family . Please be mindful of that as we attempt to fill a great void.
