Don't forget! The 2024 Arkansas Spinal Cord Injury/Disability Conference is coming up on Oct 18! It's free for ASCC clients and a family member, $60 for Healthcare Professionals, and $25 for Healthcare students. Hear presentations on advances in wound care treatment, aging with SCI/D, adaptive exercise options, assistive technology, and childrearing/parenting with SCI/D. ASCC is pleased to present the speaker line up for the 2024 Arkansas Spinal Cord Injury & Disability Conference which will be held on Friday October 18 at the Benton Event Center just south of Little Rock.

Dr. Chris Lakhiani from Institute for Advanced Reconstruction will present on Advances in Wound Care Treatment. Dr. Thomas Kiser from UAMS Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation will present an Aging Issues with SCI/D. Reed Handlery & Layton Cabe from Arkansas Colleges of Health will present on High Intensity Functional Training workouts for people with SCI/D. Tracey Zeiner & Krista Cox from Arkansas Colleges of Health Education will present on “The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly” of Assistive Technology devices. And there will be a panel presentation on Child-bearing and Parenting with SCI/D

The event is free for ASCC clients and a family member or caretaker. Healthcare professionals may register to receive 5 contact hours for continuing education for $60. Healthcare students may register for $25. Links to register for the conference will be in the comments.

We're happy to announce that the 2024 Arkansas Spinal Cord Injury & Disability Conference is happening on Friday, October 18, 2024! There will be speakers, exhibitors, door prizes, and more! This event is always free for ASCC clients and a family member. Healthcare professionals and students are also invited to attend. The Eventbrite registration link is in the first comment.

🎉We have exciting news to share! Camp Aldersgate is hosting an Adult Weekend Retreat at Mount Sequoyah in Fayetteville, Arkansas! Registration is open now with limited spots available.
