I have so many male clients that come to me for these very reasons and I am always impressed by their maturity, courage and commitment to seek therapy. I always applaud the men that come to me for individual therapy. It’s maturity. The growth and healing they receive from God, I cannot explain.

If you don’t heal from your abandonment trauma, you’ll push away those God sent to fill that abandonment. You’ll sabotage relationships. God sent them so you can have a new normal. But the unhealed you is uncomfortable with normal.

About Dr. Nioka Smith

Sexually abused by her father at the age of 14, pregnant at the age of 17, and a nervous breakdown at the age of 28, Dr. Nioka Smith’s painful past almost killed her, until the voice of the Lord guided her into destroying strongholds and reversing Satan’s plan for her life. Dr. Nioka was called by God himself to educate and empower married couples, women, and girls all over on how to break chains, destroy strongholds, reverse statistics and slay the demons of their pasts. Dr. Nioka Smith is a Licensed Clinical Christian Counselor, Certified Christian Life Coach, Published Author, Inspirational Speaker, and Licensed Educator. She is the President & CEO of J. Kenkade Publishing and the founder of the DIVAS Unchained Movement.

Dr. Nioka has a divine purpose and gift for women and girls who are discouraged, stagnant, hurting, or stuck in bad relationship cycles, as well as those who just need a little boost to get ahead in life.
