Long time no talk! Just wanted to share, I have two hernias on either side of my abdomen and they are giving me a lot of trouble. Gotten so large. I literally look about six months pregnant on one side. My doctor has referred me to a surgeon. I'm not exactly sure what the next steps are, I'm sure it's probably surgery and recovery.hopefully this will all be over soon!

First I want to thank every person who has prayed, donated monetarily, brought food, and all the other amazing acts of kindness. I can't believe or fathom how blessed I truly have been.

That being said, I think I'm at a place now where I no longer need help monetarily. I am caught up on things and have made good decisions that have me in a stable place. There's no way I can adequately thank you for your love and kindness. Please know that I love you. Truly.

God is good!!
**notice I never said you need to stop bringing food. Take that as you wish 🤪

Just a little good news update…
I was released from wound care and home health today. My abdominal wound has healed so much that home health is no longer needed. I should be able to shower without covering it in the next two weeks.
It seems almost impossible that this foot-long, super wide gaping wound has turned into a completely closed line. God is good.

From Tarah: I hate to ask more of my faithful prayer warriors, but ....
I have an allergic reaction/rash that's covered my body since Friday morning. I've been to the ER, talked to several nurses, I'm on steroids and allergy meds and nothing is helping. It's literally everywhere. And it's starting to drive me loopy.

My first post here 😊
Just wanted to share the good news I got today--Today I got a boot put on my foot. Originally I was supposed to have a cast for six more weeks, but my x-rays were unbelievably awesome! Four more weeks and I can start bearing weight. Then the oh so fun PT begins. I can't thank you guys enough for the prayers. I know that's the only reason why I'm doing as well as I am. Many thanks to God, and many thanks to every one of you!

Update: Discharged to home and HH will come out and do a culture swab, but if worsens want her to come back. But we won’t. If we have to go back we will head to UAMS. Thank you for your prayers!!

Abdominal wound not smelling nice and neither is the drainage. Sigh… This too shall pass. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Follow up at UAMS today with Dr. Ramdom Vascular surgeon and got a good report from all her vascular testing. He told Tarah “Ppl that come in with trauma like that don't leave here alive. And ppl that do survive, don't leave here with their leg.” He said she was pretty amazing. 😊 But we say God is pretty amazing! 🙌🏼🙌🏼

Surgery went beyond amazing!!! Thank you for prayers & support! God is so amazing & merciful!!! No pins after all!! Thinks she will be walking with a cast in 8 weeks! 🙌🏼🙌🏼✝️🙏🏼😊😊❤️

Tarah will be out of work for months. No income what so ever; and no vehicle. Can’t drive for months. Any suggestions for income help out there will be greatly appreciated. ❤️
