Yesterday an incredible day for nurses at UAMS! 🩺❤️ We kicked off the morning at the State Capitol during the legislative session, where we were honored to receive a citation recognizing nurses and the vital impact they make across our communities. It was a powerful moment celebrating the profession we love and serve. A sincere thank you to State Representative Mark Perry for the citation and continued support of nursing and healthcare education. Your recognition means so much to our nurses, students, faculty, and staff. We also extend our gratitude to Mayor for the proclamation honoring National Nurses Week (May 6–May 12). Thank you for helping uplift and celebrate nurses throughout our state and beyond. At the UAMS College of Nursing, we are proud to stand in the gap for health, healing, and hope. Today reminded us of the importance of our work and the responsibility we carry. We are grateful, we are inspired, and we are excited about the future of nursing! ❤️🩺✨
