The UAMS College of Pharmacy Academy of Student Pharmacists chapter is Arkansas' chapter for Region VI in the American Pharmacists Association. Our APhA-ASP chapter is dedicated to serving the profession of pharmacy and has a vested interest in developing practical skills and knowledge necessary for our student body to become good pharmacists. ❤️🩺 Heart & Diabetes Bingo Recap! 🩺❤️
In January, APhA-ASP hosted an amazing Heart & Diabetes Bingo event — combining fun, education, and awareness! 🎉💉 We learned about cardiovascular health, diabetes management, and shared laughs over bingo wins. (It def got competitive) Thanks to everyone who joined us in making health education engaging and memorable! 💪🏽✨

Absolutely had the BEST time at APhA annual this year! We all got to have so many fantastic learning experiences over the weekend, and got to enjoy Nashville.
We also accomplished so much as a chapter this annual!

Our very own was elected as Speaker of the House for our national executive board and we are so proud!!!

We also won Divisional First Runner up, meaning we placed second in the entire country for chapters our size! We commend our students for the work they have done in our community and for our chapter!

Such a successful time at annual!! We cannot wait for LA next year 😉😎🌇☀️

The Heart Challenge starts NOW! ❤️

Join us from Feb 21 – Mar 7 for a two-week challenge to improve your heart health! 💪 Head to the 6th floor by the student lounge and find the red poster to sign up. Complete challenges, earn stickers, and track your progress!

🎯 Goal: Fill your row by completing heart-healthy challenges.
🎁 Prizes: Complete half for one entry into a gift card drawing, or finish all for two entries!

💐Buds for Bros 💐was a success!!! We sold out of our flowers!!! 💃We did this to raise awareness about Men’s Mental Health. One survey showed less than 12% of men will receive flowers in their lifetime!!! So today we spread cheer and raised awareness for men’s mental health! 💙

We had an amazing meeting Wednesday with our guest speaker, ! She’s a recent graduate from UAMS and former chapter president of ApHA-ASP. We had the opportunity to hear about her journey at UAMS and how it ultimately led to her current position post-graduation!
