⚠️ BLACK ICE ALERT ⚠️
Black ice can be hard to spot and often looks just like wet pavement on cold mornings or nights. Unfortunately, it can cause your vehicle to lose traction without warning.
When temperatures drop below freezing, especially in the early morning and evening hours! Please slow down and use extra caution while driving:
🧊Slow down (more than you think you need to)
🧊 Leave extra space between you and the vehicle ahead (8–10 seconds)
🧊 Avoid sudden braking or sharp turns
🧊 If you start to slide, ease off the gas, steer gently in the direction you want to go, and stay calm
A little extra patience can go a long way in keeping everyone safe on the road. Please drive carefully.
