Many thanks to the amazing medical students who helped us with our successful Girlology session on October 5. It was a sold out audience of 330 with more than 100 on the waitlist. We could not do it without them!

The program is facilitated by Dr. Nirvana Manning, Dr. Laura Hollenbach and Dr. Kate Stambough, all from the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Girlology allows girls to learn about puberty so they can be prepared and confident. When girls learn about puberty before it happens, they feel more prepared and might even be excited. This is the perfect age to start healthy, factual conversations about girls’ changing bodies and minds.

More sessions are planned for the future, and planning is also underway for a Guyology in the spring!
