I didn’t step into this industry just to do skincare.
I stepped into it because I saw a gap — and I felt called to fill it.
I became a mother early in my career, often as a single mom, and I learned very quickly that passion alone isn’t enough. Education matters. Longevity matters. Having a plan matters.
I teach skin of color because we were never meant to be an afterthought.
I teach exit strategy because beauty professionals deserve stability, options, and a future that doesn’t depend on burnout.

Honored and grateful to share that my first published magazine article of 2026 is now live in Skin Inc. Magazine.
This milestone represents years of education, consistency, and trusting God with the assignment He placed on my life—to educate, elevate, and advocate for excellence in the beauty industry.
Being able to contribute to a publication that reaches professionals nationwide is not something I take lightly. I pray this article serves as both a resource and a reminder that purpose-driven work always bears fruit.

Some days the room is full.
Some days it’s quiet and it’s just me, cleaning, resetting, trusting God.
There were seasons when I had no clients, no momentum, and every reason to doubt.
But I kept showing up anyway. I kept preparing the room. I kept praying.
Because these are the days I prayed for.
Busy schedules. Brand deals. Overflow.
Not by luck—but by obedience, consistency, and faith when it didn’t make sense.
“If you are faithful in little things, you will be faithful in large ones.”

If today is slow for you, don’t let it shake your belief.
God is still working in the silence.
And preparation is proof that you trust what He promised.

They told us melanin couldn’t be dermaplaned.
They were wrong.
Dermaplaning on skin of color isn’t “shaving,” and it doesn’t make hair grow back thicker. When performed correctly, it improves product pe*******on, smooths texture, and enhances glow—without compromising the skin barrier.
