Legal Aid of Arkansas is proud to announce the return of our Annual Road to Justice Project, bringing FREE Civil Legal Clinics to rural communities across Arkansas from March 17–19.

This year, we’re honored to partner with NYU Law School to expand access to justice for Arkansans who need it most.

We know, we know… the promise of warm March days make it really hard to keep seeds in their packets. While it’s tempting to plant everything now, remember we’re in Zone 8a, where surprise cold snaps are still part of the deal. Let the planting guide be your guardrail. Stick to cool-season crops for now, keep frost cloth handy, and save the heat lovers for a little later. A little restraint now means healthier plants and better harvests later. Your patience will pay off!

**Early Voting Information**
There are only a few days left to early vote at Jess Odom Community Center(1100 Edgewood Drive). The hours Monday-Friday are 8:00am to 6:00pm, on Saturdays from 10:00am to 4:00pm through 2/28/26. These dates and times are the same for all locations with the exception of the Pulaski County Regional Building. It will be open on Monday, March 2nd from 8am to 5pm. All other locations will end early voting on Saturday, February 28th.

Election Day March 3, 2026.

Free, four-week class in Conway: UNDERSTANDING POVERTY AND SENIOR CITIZENS

4 Weeks Only: January 26 - February 16

Class location at First United Methodist Church, 1610 Prince St. in Conway, AR

Understanding Poverty is a four-week course focused on outlining issues surrounding poverty and its effects on families in Arkansas. This course describes common challenges and ways to intervene that lead to long-term transformation. Specific areas of discussion include housing, access to medical care, food insecurity, and generational cycles. This course is designed to be informative and interactive, allowing space for group discussion and further contemplation.

Spring Hunter is the Board Chair of Conway Ministry Center. She graduated from Arkansas Tech. She has made multiple trips to Central America for mission work. Representing the Conway Ministry Center, she is sharing her passion to help Arkansans with LifeQuest at Conway in Winter 2026.
