TROUBLE SLEEPING 😴 💤
If you have tried everything for sleep & nothing has worked well & you have good sleep habits and have even had a sleep study; there is a new prescription medication for sleep that works differently than the older medications currently available. Lemborexant
temporarily reduces our “wakefulness receptors” in our brains so we can get some sleep.
There appears to be no dependence like older medications so if you are really tired you don’t have to use the medication. However, clinical studies show that people with insomnia who took the medication nightly, their sleep patterns continued to improve with time! There is no known amnesia risk with this medication either.
This new sleeping medication has several advantages over older medications, if you are having trouble sleeping, schedule a visit to discuss if this new medication is right for you. There is a voucher available to try the medication for one month.

We often find patients face an array of confusing and overwhelming choices when it comes to treating back and neck pain. Unlike other facilities, we use a comprehensive and multidisciplinary team approach to treat each patient. Mocek Spine offers the best solutions and cutting-edge medical advancements through a cooperative team of spinal medicine physicians, orthopedic surgeons, neurosurgeons, physiatrists, physical therapists, psychologists, chiropractors, and specialized nurses.

In the past, treatment options were limited. Patients were subjected to two options, intensive spinal surgery or living with the pain. Recent advancements have allowed Mocek Spine to offer advanced spine care solutions including, medications, injections, physical therapy, and minimally invasive treatments.

Mocek Spine is bridging the gap between conservative treatments and traditional surgery. Historically, spine surgeries were limited in their exploratory efforts. Now with the use of diagnostic spinal injections, the source of the patient's pain can be more clearly defined. We use the most advanced x-ray techniques when administering injections. Dr. Mocek provides his patients with conscious sedation techniques, including both nitrous oxide and intravenous medications for comfort during procedures.
