At Arkansas Urogynecology & Women's Health, we know that health is a holistic endeavor- and you can't heal if you're hungry. With nearly 19% of Arkansans facing food insecurity, and more than 230,000 Arkansans- our patients, friends, families, and neighbors- facing loss of food assistance this month, we would like to invite everyone to participate in our clinic food pantry.

We have boxes with non-perishable food, both individual items and "meal in a bag" kits, in our lobby and near the checkout counter. If you are able, we invite you to bring items to donate. If you are in need or know someone in need, we invite you to grab a bag of items to take with you.

Take what you need. Give what you can. Let's keep each other healthy.

“The phrase ‘one in a million’ is used colloquially to describe someone who stands out, who is rare in talent or skill. The versatile phrase can be applied to any unique individual, performance or confluence of circumstance, most commonly used figuratively because people generally don’t have an actual pool of a million of anything by which to compare. Dr. Susan Barr is one of the rare instances where the phrase can be applied literally.”

Arkansas Urogynecology and Women’s Health is humbled to announce that our own Dr. Barr is featured in the High Profile section of the Arkansas Democrat Gazette. Grab today’s paper to read the wonderful feature that describes Dr. Barr’s start in the field of Urogynecology and the impact she’s made on thousands of women since then.
