There was a time when I thought of work in terms of obligation:
• I have to get up early.
• I have to adjust patients.
• I have to keep the clinic running.

That mindset produces pressure, not gratitude. Obligation, not calling.

But when I step back and look at the reality, I don’t have to be an upper cervical chiropractor—I get to be one.

I get to witness lives being changed without drugs or surgery.
I get to see someone’s migraines disappear after years of suffering.
I get to help a mom have enough energy to play with her kids again.
I get to be entrusted with the most delicate, most powerful area of the human body—where the brain meets the body.

That’s not obligation. That’s stewardship. That’s privilege.

And yes—it takes discipline. It takes commitment. It takes prayer. But it’s no longer “I have to.” It’s “I get to.”

When we shift from duty to gratitude, the burden becomes lighter. The hard days become meaningful. The work becomes worship.

That’s what being an upper cervical chiropractor means to me.

For a long time, I lived in fear of what people thought of me. Every decision, every word, every action—I filtered it through: “Will they approve? Will this please them?”

But here’s the truth: when you live to please everyone, you lose yourself.

It wasn’t until I realized that my identity isn’t built on other people’s opinions—but on Christ—that everything shifted.

👉 Dad, clinician, husband, friend—we all carry roles. But our true identity is only secure in Christ and HIM ALONE. That’s where peace comes from. That’s where purpose comes from. That’s where we stop being tossed around by everyone else’s expectations.

So here’s the reminder:
Don’t live for the approval of the crowd. Live for Christ. That’s where you’ll find your real identity.

Family vacations aren’t just about where you go… they’re about survival skills in the car. 😂🚙

Dad tips from the road:
1️⃣ Snacks = peace treaty. Pack double what you think you need. healthy snacks we choose are meat sticks and frui!
2️⃣ Stops every 2–3 hours. Kids (and adults) need to reset, stretch, and move.
3️⃣ Roll with it. Meltdowns happen, traffic happens—memories are made in the middle of the chaos.
4️⃣ Don’t over-plan the schedule. Leave room for the unplanned ice cream stop. 🍦

At the end of the day, the girls won’t remember the miles—they’ll remember the laughs, the songs, and mom and dad being present. That’s the win.
