Meet Angela Nduati, LPN and Charge Nurse for our Surgery, Trauma, Vascualr and IR Clinics! Angie is actively involved in her clinic team, helping organize parties, planning celebrations for Medical Assistants Recognition Week, is an active mentor for our Project Search & recently volunteered to be our new social media administrator to spotlight our LPNs & SSSL team! We are so happy Angie chose our Surgical Specialties Service Line (SSSL) to continue her nursing career! 💙

H4 - Cardiac, Surgical, Trauma ICU is pleased to present Tanner Thomason, RN with his DAISY of the Month Nomination Award! Here is what his nominator shared: Tanner is one of those people you can count on no matter what. Every person on the unit knows they can ask him for assistance, and he will be there to support them. There are times when multiple emergent situations are going on, and Tanner makes himself available to be there for his coworkers. Wherever Tanner sees a need, he makes sure to step in and help … not only does he support his fellow nurses, but he delivers compassionate care to his patients. He is always willing to explain and educate patients and their family members on what is going on. Tanner will go out of his way to make sure patients are taken care of and all needs are being met or exceeded. He cares deeply about his patients and their outcomes and that shows. Everyone on H4 is lucky to have someone like Tanner on their side!”
