SAND AR - Self-Advocacy Network Development

SAND AR - Self-Advocacy Network Development Sand Leaders wanted. We train self-advocates to know and understand their rights, and to help teach others.

We’re looking for individuals who…
Want to learn to speak up for themselves and others;
Want to tell family, friends, employers, and policymakers that we want to make our own decisions and live our lives the way we choose, with support only if we really need it;
Want to learn about other organizations, such as Self-Advocates Becoming Empowered (SABE) that are creating real and lasting policy change in communities across the nation. Together we can create chapters across Arkansas, to train even more self-advocates.
