Joyce Edwards,
Speech-Language Pathologist at River Ridge Rehabilitation & Care Center

Joyce has been a speech-language pathologist for 35 years and 11 years (almost 12) with ProCare. She demonstrates a calm spirit. She is reliable, caring, and exemplifies dedication to her patients. Joyce demonstrates integrity and brings great value to the rehab team where she serves.

Joyce states that she became a SLP with the help of her school counselor who shared with her that based on the projections of the time, there would be a great demand for the profession.

Joyce says, "Working at River Ridge is more than just a job to me, it's a chance to serve the people and places I love, and that's the greatest reward"

She has been married for 28 years to her husband Erik . She has two daughters, Tiffany and Erika. Her heart is held by her granddaughter Sage Marie, who is 3 years old.

In her leisure time, she enjoys reading , spending time with her family and fellowshipping with her church family at Union Valley MB Church.

Joyce says, "ProCare is a company that has built a strong reputation for reliability and quality. I am proud to be a part of their team."

Lindsey Raney, OTR/L, Occupational Therapist at Conway Healthcare and Rehabilitation

Lindsey began her career in occupational therapy following graduation from the University of Central Arkansas in 2008. Lindsey has extensive experience in outpatient services, acute care, and inpatient rehabilitation, making her both well rounded and a wealth of knowledge for less experienced therapists on our team.

She has been a valued employee with ProCare Therapy Services since February 2019, recognized for her Clinical Excellence and completion of the 2024 Career Development Program. She exhibits a passion for the care of elders. Lindsey has been instrumental in program development related to contracture management, dynamic treatment practices and fall prevention/management.

Lindsey lives with her husband Michael and their family in Mayflower. She spends her time outside of work chasing their three children, Walker, age 13, Kinley, age 7, and Rhett, age 2. They love to swim, take care of the chickens, and prepare for showing hogs at the fair. Lindsey is an avid hunter and loves to go camping and fishing with the family.

Lindsey is a valued asset to the ProCare family. When she speaks about her time with ProCare, she expresses appreciation for the commitment that ProCare has to employees promoting knowledge in order to benefit our elders. Lindsey states that she loves the flexibility of her job and that ProCare employees work together as a family when someone wants to be off work to spend time with their personal family. She states, “ProCare cares about recognizing employees and the work we do each day to better the lives of elders that we see in our facilities.”

Employee Spotlight:🌟

Katie Rouse, COTA, Rehab Director at The Green House Cottages of Belle Meade.

Katie graduated from Pocahontas High School in 2016. While attending Three Rivers College, she completed a clinical rotation at The Green House Cottages of Walnut Ridge (formerly Walnut Ridge Nursing and Rehab). She graduated in 2018 and began full time employment with ProCare in 2019. She is currently working toward a OTD.

Katie chose to be a COTA because she loves helping people. She enjoys seeing people smile and finds fulfillment in assisting people in being as independent as possible. She states that the most rewarding aspects of her work are witnessing people recover from illness and return to living independently and making a connection with people.

Katie has been married to Austin Rouse for 2 years and they have a one-year old son, Logan.

Katie enjoys yoga and baking. She values her family most. She demonstrates a caring, compassionate spirit. She exhibits professionalism and fosters relationships with team members, caregivers, and facility leadership.

Katie states, "I’m grateful to be part of the ProCare team where I get to do what I love every day—helping others regain their independence and quality of life as an occupational therapy assistant. ProCare has supported my growth both personally and professionally, and I appreciate the opportunities for career advancement and the encouragement to keep learning and excelling in my field."
