We are happy to announce that we have added another Physician Associate to our group. Grace Barker, PA-C. A native of McCrory, Grace earned a BS degree in Exercise Science at Harding University and Masters Of Medical Science, Physician Assistant from Lincoln Memorial University in Knoxville, TN. She will be training in Endocrinology here at ADEC. She will start seeing patients once her training has completed. If you see her in clinic or research give her a warm welcome.

ADEC is pleased to announce that Sarah Dreher, PA-C will be joining our clinic as a new provider starting in September. A native of Little Rock, Sarah has been working in Dallas for the past two years in Internal Medicine. She’ll be training in Endocrinology and once her training is completed, she will be seeing new patients. If you see her in the halls of the clinic next month, make sure you say Hi and welcome her.

For all of those on a Medtronic 780G system, the all in one disposable CGM was FDA apporved today Willl make it simpler to insert with a two step process Should be available Fall 2025. We conducted the clinical trial on this CGM in our research center and Dr Thrasher has abstracts and a manuscript that will be presented and pending publication.
